After a few home games now, was wondering what were peoples thoughts on it,

FOR OR AGAINST!

I for one can understand the wont for supporters to want to have a drink in their seat !
but if i had any gripe against it, it would be the fact that recently my backside has been up and down like a fiddlers elbow letting people by to empty their small beer filled bladders, and fetching refills,[i i had folk around me commenting on the amount of times i was up and down, this week ![/i
I for one would not be adverse to going back to how it was " have a drink at
H.T" if those people cant wait 40 mins for a drink then they have a problem!

why not have a section within the ground "drinkers only"? a046.gif

just my thoughts,

Haven't noticed a difference to be honest. The people around us don't tend to bother.

We tend to sit in a section where most people do it so no one cares.

I Haven't noticed too much either (south stand) but did get showered in the stuff at Wigan from the back of the stand, some can't hold their beer literally and physically

I all for it, so far I have seen no cons for it, people still get up and down as much as they use to, the ques are much smaller which leads to you been able to see all of the game, before you would have to miss the last and first 10 mins of each half.

I saw that, they threw near enough a full pint from the back of the stand, all the way to the front of the stand when we scored, covering near enough the whole section, luckly I was in the section to the right and the fallout missed me.

When it was announced, I thought I was going to have to be up and down all the time, letting people in and out for a release. But to be honest, I've not noticed any difference! As long as it proceeds to not cause any harm, I'm fine with it. Think that is the general consensus with our whole group in the South.

Then it would be a question of priorities. Are you so desperate for alcohol that it's worth missing twenty minutes of the game for some flat, watery, tasteless 'beer', or not?

Not you personally, by the way - more a general question!

Flip the question around though. Generally some people like a beer at a game of rugby. If the level of service received doesn't meet the half time demand which means some people missed 10-20 mins of the game to enjoy the beer that theyve ordered why not deal with the demand by allowing people to drink in the seats. Seems a sensible solution. People shouldn't need to prioritise if they want a beer. The service offering needs to allow them to have a beer and see the rugby if thats their choice.
