| Just to inform Hull FC fans that The Man in the Moon pub in Stanmore is Now Closed.
Sad loss as it was very handy for Wembley and good atmosphere.
There is another Weatherspoons - JJ Moons - further down the tube line, just one stop
from Wembley at Kingsbury.
Hope to meet up with Black & White fans there.

| Sad to hear that. Always park at Stanmore tube station as it is dirt cheap and then go to the wetherspoons or eat somewhere in that area before tubing to Wembley.

| JJ Moons was absolutely rammed in 2013, we walked from where we were parked to grab some food in Kingsbury and unless you got there early doors it'd be a job to get to the bar.

| We are parking at stanbury then getting tube from there but i have not done it this way before, using just park.com using someones drive. just wondered what time people who are parking at stanbury set off from hull because according to google maps its only about 2 to 3 hours which is less than i expected. Also is it best to get rail ticket from stanmore to wembley in advance or from the station on the day, Thanks Terry

| Don't buy cash tickets - use contactless credit card. Much much cheaper.

Parking on a drive - you would be ok at 11am, but for the station car park - no later than 10am.
As others say, pay for tickets by contactless card - its only 1.50 each way for an adult using this method. By cash is 4.90 each way !!!!
Takes 2-3 hours to Stanmore as you don't contend with the squeeze at the end of the M1 at Brent Cross.

| What's this 2-3 hours nonsense! From Hull to stanmore is never 2 hours, not even close, maybe if you do it at night and ignore the speed cameras.
Coming down the M1 that's 208 miles, coming down the A15/A46/A1 that's just short of 180.
I flit between North herts/Hull/London regularly and you should allow for 3.5-4 hours travelling given you've got a lot of Saturday traffic coming into London normally anyway.
But if you think you can average 104mph all the way point to point then knock yourself out!

| The Moon on the Hill at Harrow still open. One stop past Wembley, we drank in here before 2013 and it was a good laugh and dead easy to get to the ground and not packed. Already agreed to meet some Bramley Buffalos mates in there & usually full of Cas Tigers fans.

Well I was just asking for a bit of advice, I have not done it this way before as last few times I have stayed for the weekend. You may notice I originally said that I actually thought 2 to 3 hours wasn't enough so just wondered what time others were setting off just as a guide. I have no intention of averaging 104 mph nor do I expect to get anywhere near that speed so keep your sarcastic arrogant comments to yourself and knock yourself out!
Thanks to others who posted replies to my question,
Terry

| We're planning on leaving Victoria Dock at 7am and intend to be at Canons Park (one station further in than Stanmore) at about 10.30 and in to Central London for coffee etc by just gone 11am.

| If I were driving from Hull, I'd give myself 4 hours for the journey.
There are a few 50 mile an hour stretches (around Notts) which keep the traffic flowing but clearly slow you down a bit.
