Horne is not the long term answer. Miller and Rankin may not be the answer either but we won't know unless we give them an extended run together.

The problem you've got is that two young kids together you'll end up with a completely mixed bag week after week and sometimes even in the same game.

Game management doesn't just happen it comes with experience.

Perhaps we could get a retired specialist half back mentor/coach.

None of them combinations for me . I think the only one I'd keep in the team is rankin as I think he has something to offer , and a new scrum half needed ASAP again . Horne is to slow in passing and decision making , and I don't think we can go with miller and rankin together yet as they haven't got the experience in how to manage teams and close games out . We need a type of a briers / Sinfield / Cooke player , and until we do we"ll keep getting nowhere and the same problems .

Correct. We need to find an experienced half back that can shut a game down. Glad we didn't get Chase tbh, not what we need. A player like Dobson would be ideal.

I said all along that we can maybe carry 1 inexperienced half but 2 is asking for trouble. Far more average and below average performances than good ones
