Really hope he gets a new contract at the end of the season, fully deserved imo. He's been ever present for us this season and never takes a backward step. Strong runner and works his arris off in defence. Been pleasantly suprised (as with McGoldrick).

Think he deserves another deal as has been very good this year, however and the same goes for mcgoldrick, if supporters wan big names like Ellis, chase etc, they have to make sacrifices to be within the salary cap, we need to follow the wigan and Leeds model of having some top players backed up by youngsters.

I'd definitely offer him a new deal. One of the most consistent players we have and has made an impact on several games. Hasn't missed many matches and is able to play in both the front and back rows.

Agree with all the above. Think he has proved a good singing for us and proved most of the doubters wrong.

Aspinwall has been good value TBH and has earnt another deal. Can't have a team full of world beaters you need some unsung heroes and grafters.

Got to be worth a year. We employed Dowes for years, for Gods sake and he couldnt break a tackle.

I agree with what has been said regarding Aspinwall, hasn't let us down at all. I had my reservations about him and McGoldrick but both have proved me wrong. So long as we get our first choice signings for next season than if we can do a deal with them both I would be happy to see them extend their deals with the club.

I'd be very surprised if he hasn't got a deal somewhere so maybe not even an option for us

Listening to Gentles interview on Humberside I'd be suprised if Aspinwall hasn't been offered a new deal as he spoke quite highly of him

He's been a real asset this season and I'm happy to admit I was wrong in doubting the decision to sign him.

Think he's been a great signing and hope he gets 1/2 years more with us. He's added much needed steel in the team with his great workrate. Vastly underrated.....get him signed up pronto

For me, Aspinwall has been one of our signings of the year. As with McGoldrick, I wasn't overawed with signing him but he seems to have sorted himself out and he's been very consistent this year.

Seems to have played a lot of games so he's obviously still physically OK
