His style of play will attract attention and the fact he has such a short temper will see him targeted as other teams try to wind him up and get a cheap penalty out of him.

I think its Lauaki who needs to keep his hands to himself and just get on with it. Giving a penalty away whilst your in posession is pointless.

He's definitely going to have to learn that regardless of how much 'treatment' he gets from the oppo he can't come up swinging. Maybe he was harshly treated but its up to him to get up and play on. He's a big unit and can obviously cause some damage to others teams but if he's constantly going to give away pens the good will pale with the bad.

Every team in RL will niggle him and its how he reacts to this that will be the make or break.

PS. Good tactic by Agar, it will definitely gain him some protection by the next ref, but not a lot.

A fair point very much overlooked since Friday. I heard Clint Newton say on the radio that his 'tank' was on empty for the last 10 minutes of the Derby and that alongside his pretty ineffective running game would suggest he maybe put too much effort into the physical side of the game.

Agar has it spot on, Lauaki does not to be smarter but he is attracting the attention of defenders and is being harshly treated by the refs.

As you have mentioned enough times, the derby is just another game, we got the same points as you guys over the Easter weekend.

It's either a knock on or it isn't.
