| Anyone else who doesn't think Morgue is any good?
They have a very good 17, not sure they have that much after that and no youth players to call on. Players like Brown, Richardson and Kersahw are very average players.

| Felt that Wigan matched rovers physically for the full eighty minutes, which is what is probably required for anyone else hoping to take them down. Teams need to somehow stay in the fight with them, which isn't easy to do.
Once the game entered the last twenty minutes with the result still in the balance, it became a simple choice of who took their chances, and Wigan did.
Thought it was interesting that as the game slipped away from them, rovers lost their shape and started chasing the scoreboard rather than trusting the systems which have served them well so far, although the injury disruptions probably didn't help their cause.
The nagging doubt for rovers now is that when the key games arrive Wigan will always find that extra gear to swing things their way, which they've had a habit of doing down the years.
Think this puts a little extra pressure on rovers for next week, they won't want to be losing two weeks in a row, killing the momentum they've built up in these early weeks. Whether we can match the physicality Wigan showed tonight remains a major doubt though.

I've just realised that it was brown playing in the 2nd half when I couldn't work out who it was. Morgue lives off 2 or 3 sensational tries a couple of years ago. Avergae player for me, similar to fages who I have never rated

| 54 tackle busts for Wigan compared to just 14 for Rovers. Some difference that. Rovers don't handle things very well when the opposition get a bit of speed into their play. Their whole defence relys on them getting 3, if not 4, men in and slowing things down.

Since Peters arrived, rovers have brought in players for specific purposes (physical, high-intensity energy) to fit into a structured game-plan, and Morgue doesn't seem a right fit for what he has built over the past couple of years. I suppose he could give them something different, he certainly can produce jack-in-a-box moments when he's on fire, but he doesn't look like a Peters-type player to me.

| Don't know why they dropped Broadbent for Morgue, Broadbent is a better player and has been in good form, seems a bit puzzling.

Broadband played centre didn't he? Thought he was poor there but looked good at full back last week

Must admit Morgue did seem an odd choice for them when they made a play for him and still does now they’ve moved him in earlier. Be interesting to see how well they’ll cope if they’ve picked up some longer term injuries as they’ve previously managed to avoid it. Sue’s looked a nasty one, possibly hyperextended elbow. Thought Wigan stuck at it and stayed in the arm wrestle and took their chances in the 2nd half which proved crucial. Didn’t think Rovers troubled Wigan too much in 2nd half and lost direction and looked rattled.

| When Wigan's attack clicks in dry weather, they're incredibly difficult to stop.
Really important win for us - wouldn't have wanted KR to move 6 points ahead.
