| Watkins going to Leeds which isn't a massive shock.
Probably have signed by the time this post appears.
Not sure what else is out there, feel like we will go with what we have, real shame injuries are dictating our season, as I think a near fully fit squad could finish in the top 6.
Hopefully we can hang in there until we get some bodies back.

| why do we think these injuries are happening? seems to me, with the majority of them being lower body muscle injuries, it could be something to do with training on the 4g pitches and then playing on real surfaces.
whats everyone elses thoughts?

I would hope that this possibility would be thoroughly investigated. I can't believe that we haven't already and ruled it out.

| Cartwright Holmes have history with injuries before they came to us. Lane broken arm....Barron like a lot of wingers can have niggling hamstring injuries. Yea maybe we need to look at it all but a lot are just rugby related injuries.....

| Dave K.:
Need to try and make some moves.
Firstly I'd offer Saints some money to try and get Batchelor early, if not I'd make a move for Watkins, but unless he has a deal for next year already at Leeds or Wakey would have to be a 18 month deal. Could play centre a bit next year too, give us a year for Litten and Westerman to be ready.
Bailey is an option, but is he SL ready, if it takes him few weeks to get up to speed, it's maybe not worth it.
Holmes is targeting the next Derby, hopefully Fash and Chamberlain aren't too bad.
Maybe to give Kirby some real gametime.
Still think the next free games are free hits.
Agree with this play Kirby, we have Holmes, Batchelor, Bell, Cartwright and Bailey all for next season, can't see us getting anyone in unless it's short term or loan. All these games are bonus games so nothing to lose so give Kirby a go.

| Sounds to be like Ashworth isn't going to get offered a deal, surprised at that, but have to trust the process and maybe he is on big money and the club don't think he is value for money.
Saw last night a few mentions of us trying to sign James Mcdonnell from Leeds, would be very good signing, but we look strong in the backrow next year, so not sure about him coming unless Jed moves to prop.

Start of the year I would have been disappointed, but looking at the progress of our wingers and he standard we re recruiting, I'm ctaully not that bothered about missing out. Wouldn't have minded him for depth, but would prefer to get someone better (although this might not be possible)

| I'd love to see Ashworth stay, he's coming into his prime years as a prop, seems to like being here and seems to get what we're trying to do as a club.
Again it depends on what Myler and Cartwright see as value on the cap bur he's a great asset to the team.
