Pains me to say it but best team won.Lack of composure in first half didn’t help. If pryce had scored before half time it could have turned it for us. Jez Litten deserved man of the match.mystery to me why peters doesn’t play him from the start.
Frustrating that no one backed pryce up. Easy try with some support play no one fast enough or a thinking brain to go with him

| Really disappointed today. A couple of scores in that first 20 and it could have been a different story. I'm glad we got some points on the board, but we've got a long way to go before we're challenging, which we knew before we kicked a ball today.

If we've signed who we think we've signed and sign a centre (or two) and a backrower then I don't think we are that far away. We were very average and forgettable in 2015 and look what happened with the right new additions.

Didn’t take long for this season’s scapegoat to emerge
Nobody is making Rapana a scapegoat but he's made a few errors at crucial times so far such as the knock on at the play the ball today when it looked we were in the ascendancy and about to score. If he can iron them out he's a great addition to the squad. A bit like Pritchard in the way he could lift the team with his enthusiasm.

| I thought for the first 20 minutes we competed well and for me that was the crucial timeframe to keep them out as HKR are always fast starters and i really thought we were in with a chance. apart from our errors what was obvious was just how much a bit of quality in the centre and second row is. we couldnt handle Hiku and Tanginoa and their line speed compared to ours was chalk and cheese. Need to get another second row in sharpish. Think we will beat them in the derby game

be interesting to see how dan [aka dave k] spins your show this afternoon against a team missing its 2 starting second rows and man of steel when the scores were level
Barron…Cust..Cartwright…Balmforth..Fash…Lane broken arm…as for show….16pt difference and we handed you 12 of them..not bad for a show.We are in a rebuild with money behind us from OWNERS not investors who have put money in for only 3 yrs….Bet your crusty sock will be getting a good workout tonight if they had played it could have been worse

Harsh, I'd say he was solid not spectacular, Kane was like a frightened gazelle

| It’s frustrating. We’re not far off and have progressed quicker than expected, Think we will add to the squad soon and Oli Holmes is due back too. Just think the occasion got the better of us, I doubt Raps will have a worse game than today. On a more positive note Firmly believe Marc Sneyd will win the lance Todd trophy again to defeat those pesky dobbins lol

| Fair play to Rovers the best team by a long way. As much as it pains me to say it Peters was a great appointment for them, if you look down their team sheet it's not star after star like Wigans is but the systems Peters has put in place makes them look so solid and difficult to break down.
