| Wonder if we’ll take advantage of the new (terrible) exemption rule? Satae would qualify. Would anyone have him back?

| Perivale? He must be about 45 by now. A no from me, far too injury 0rone in recent years.
Satae? I'd take him but are we still looking for middles? Half back and centre first

Agree on all that, as good as Percival is (he is only 30 BTW), he wouldn't be cheap and is injured a lot, think Cross or King would offer much better value for money. On props we have Ese Ese, Ashworth, Fash, Aydin, Salbio and Hill, that's 6 props, plus the odd young kid, I'd like one more, but not on too much money, I'd be tempted to keep Watts (as a 6th/7th prop). If Ashworth goes, then we certainly need one more. 6 is the no 1 priority, if that image is right, it has to be announced in the next day or two.

Toby King or Mark Percival then?……
Hopefully Toby King then. Percival has had his day. Satae could be next years Liam Watts coming back for one last hurrah and bringing impact off the bench? Not so sure though myself. Not seen him do much for Cats and would rather keep Knight if that can be arranged.

A good dilemma to have is with the squad doing better than expected do we stick or twist when it comes to signings?
For example Knight has looked good despite a late start to the season but takes up a quota spot so it's a balance, also telling him quota places are full you'll have to go would naturally demotivate him for the rest of the season.
Also wondering if Briscoe has another year in him as backup Centre/Wing, whereas before I'd have thought it was well deserved lap of honour round the stands time at the end of the year.
It's like the Triester/Swain scenario back in 2002, lots of people wanted to keep Triester because he played well and not sign Swain, but Swain ended up being one of our best ever hookers and led us to that 2005 win in Cardiff. Progress unfortunately means tough choices, and. I don't think we can keep Knight

| Wasn't there a suggestion that Bell might not be a quota player next year ? Played for Scotland in the World Cup hasn't he ?
No way Jed being 'binned off' - big asset when on the field. oh and his dad doing a reasonable job too !!
Seen comments blaming the 4G training pitch, my understanding ( from a club release ) is that all clubs now well aware of the potential danger so now carefully structure amount & type of training on the various surfaces. Sure they also mentioned migration between the two.
Al part of the new professional approach to the strength & conditioning side ?
Guess too early to measure its impact on keeping bodies on the pitch rather than sat in the stands though ?
Regarding Pryce, definitely a flair attacking player. Don't see him as a replacement for Cust, room for both in the 17. See him as a replacement for Jordan Abdul - Cust would be an excellent player as hooker, cover in the halves, impact no. 14.

| With regards to centre, Toby King would probably be our best bet, hopefully we'll be able to get a deal done. Percival is good but is made out of biscuits, Newman and Lindop don't really seem realistic.

Just spoke to a current fc player and he said don't be suprised of you hear Pryce is coming.
Dont ask who it was but it was 5m ago.
Disgusting, should have been in bed by 10pm It was early evening around 6pm. For some reason, I posted it again at 11.20pm. I was drunk, so probably forgot that I had posted already. I saw him and said ''hello well played'' etc...offered him a beer. He refused but thanked me. So I asked him about Pryce and that was his reply. I then stuck a tenner in his and said get a beer on me later and walked away. 1m later he came back and said ''thank you but I'm not allowed to accept it'' and gave me it back.

We should have used the non fed spot we've used on Bell on an overseas centre
Or maybe we trust Myler and Cartwright, while not perfect they have recruited better than any other CEO and catch since 2015. I thought it would take 3 cycles to get us challenging, but if can sign a quality 6 and I think we could challenge next year.

I personally think the club are confident of getting him off the quota.
