|
4 or 5 of those penalties must have been in the first 20 mins. Really impressive performance and hopefully we can back it up again with another performance next week[/quote:cknp1le6]
There were also a couple that weren't really discipline related, such as the offside that we challenged. Just a bit unlucky there. And both the Rapana knees on Makinson and the Barron push in goal were really soft.
Sao had a bit of a reactive grab when he was wrong footed, but it wasn't bad one, typical forward tackling a back sort of penalty. That and Cust speaking out of turn were the disappointing ones. Apart from that I thought discipline was fine.

|
Great unexpected win, 1-17 brilliant, so much fitter and organised than last season. Standouts for me were Rapana, Bourouh, Cust and Asiata. Thought Lane was much improved on last season too, looks to have bulked up a bit...Briscoe didn't look out of place as a centre. Still bits to work on, can't be giving that many penalties away v Wigan next week.
McNamara needs to improve things and quickly, can't see Guash having much patience with him. Pangai jr looked overweight and Garcia is wasted at 9.[/quote:2o32f728]
Wire away for Catalan next week too. But then again if Cas have genuinely improved tonight then there are no easy games (barring the face about Salford tomorrow)

| If you ask some of the players from last season how they felt tonight , I guess they’d be Amazed.
They had at least one General in Sezer directing play.
What a difference to last season where we looked like headless chucks.
I said weeks ago we could finish 6th if Carty got it right.
Not a bad start to the season.
We defended well but Catalans were poor v Halifax and we will play better teams starting next week then Leigh.
I’m in 7th heaven currently and jumped off the sofa a few times watching the game.
Let’s see where we are after 9 games.
