1 tackle bust would be a start[/quote:3644ylqr]
I think when I joined this forum people were having similar debates around players like Dowes, Cusack and Josh Cordoba
I think I’m missing something because amongst all the poop last year notwithstanding a couple of disciplinary problems thought Fash was ok. I think the same about Lane who got player of the season for what that was worth.
I guess my thing with fan criticism of players is that we can miss some things they do that perhaps only those in the know, ie teammates and coaches, appreciate. I’m an average fan but I try to see off the ball stuff, I look for geeing up of teammates etc and I look at stats. Doesn’t make me any better than other fans I just think that only appreciating 40 tackles a game cut out passes and tackle busts is missing the whole story of player contribution[/quote:27bb8967]
Wasn't Fash's average gain last season about 5.3m? Needs to be better for a prop
I haven't listened, so unsure if it gives an explanation, but any idea why Jordan Lane replaced Sezer on Humberside tonight? Hopefully nothing to worry about...
Says Holmes is the only “senior” player who’s a doubt. But nothing specific been mentioned about chamberlain.[/quote:18jcc3f9]
Just seems odd phrasing to me. I suppose if Chamberlain is injured he’s technically not a doubt. Just seems strange that it’s not been mentioned at all when he went off with an injury in a friendly.
With Holmes a doubt this would be what I’d go with
Moy
Martin
Hardaker
Rapana
Barron
Cust
Sezer
Ese Ese
Bourouh
Aydin
Cartwright
Lane
Asiata
Ashworth Sao Balmforth Chamberlain
Alternative could be to start chamberlain, move rapana to full back with moy on bench to bring on to change the game if required
