Quote: BP1 "Renewed my seat in South Stand around a month ago, was always intending to even when sat through some of the most diabolically inept displays I have witnessed in all my time following the club.
It's relatively cheap for me, not too far to travel, but force of habit more than anything really was behind the decision to renew. I do think the club have leaned a great deal on longstanding loyalties for a while now.
I wouldn't call out anyone who felt last year was one bad year too far for them to go any further, even with the improved slightly more positive air around the club tonight. The club has to prove it's worthy of re-engaging those supporters who have chosen to walk away, before they leave for good.'"
Only saving the cost of 3 or 4 games a year allows people to see whether things look to come to fruition before attending. A good start fixture wise and a good start of competitive games will hopefully attract people back.
Really good point raised by someone tonight about the local amateur game clashing with Saturdays 3pm, but as a dad to a young son I was pleased with the confirmation of weekend games (and I know he will be too)
