Whilst I like Martin and Barron, I doubt either are at the stage to go to a high end Championship club and win the fans player of the season. To me, Wynne is like a better version of Briscoe. I always thought in a team with zero excitement - it was crazy letting a player like him go. Especially if we're signing a chronically overweight player like Abdul. |

For me it seems Connor Wynnes time/opportunity at Hull was mostly hampered by his own attitude, which if I remember rightly he'd openly admitted. Now whether that was down to immaturity or being influenced by the likes of Reynolds etc only he knows but he was given numerous chances at the club to knuckle down. Its would seem he chose not to take those chances so was not retained as a Hull player, has he learned those lessons in terms of attitude and is he really worth a gamble? For me it would be no |

That’s what I think.
Alright saying we have more players coming in, however Parcell and shall have been very good and consistent for Rovers.
Think Martyn will be a useful signing for them as his goal kicking is a light year better than anything they have already. |

Not saying he wasn’t a target and could be wrong but I don’t remember anything other then speculation on here? Not long after Myler joined one reporter ran a story about how Towse had been dropped from the York team and offered to SL clubs, with the obvious Myler link we put 2 and 2 together but don’t remember much else said. |

That's all guesswork, the fact no SL club have signed him tells its own story, he's a decent player, but with a history of a poor attitude.
Briscoe was and is a better player, if we sign him,maybe it stops the development of Barron, who has potential to be a good SL winger and better long term than Wynne.
The weigh thing is irrelevant, let's see how Abdul is, at the ems of pre season. |
