Quote: Jake the Peg "It does seem strange that myler said one of the things he needed to do was to bring the club closer to the fans yet he's done nothing at all about it'"
Obviously James Clark was the media man and now he's gone nobodies doing it
Dan actually touched on this in the latest addition on the podcast him and Matt Shaw host regarding the difficulty of his position, he is first and foremost a fan, and from his tone on the podcast every time i have listened it is clear that it is hurting him just as much as it hurts us. However it is important to remember that this is his profession, and that maintaining a relationship with the club is vital for his work.
Having said this, it does get very repetitive reading essentially the same article week in week out, in recent weeks his articles with players all revolve around the hard pre-season to come. I get the impression that the players simply do not care about the rest of this season, as reflected on last friday's performance, which again, is completely unacceptable.
For Myler, I think he has spoken well and updated probably as much as he can. As mentioned above, it really does feel like this club just wants to get the next 10 days out the way and start on a clean slate, if from there we see more of an effort to bridge the gap between the club and it's supporters we will have to wait and see.
Just been on hull live and our “coach” has nearly put me to sleep with his assessment.Tomlinson has laid into the team and club as a whole again but he doesn’t criticise Grix at all.Im all for the shower of e that are tarnishing the great shirt getting it but why isn’t Grix??
