asi looks a decent player to me,what ive seen of him.couldnt call him a marquee player,but neither was sailor and we de have been happy with him.we dont know its hull who have signed him.but could go well over here.can kick goals too

Asi can play 6, centre or 1. Think he'd go well as a running 6 over here

Haven't seen much of him, but watched some highlights last night, think he is the type of halfback we bedd, can run, pass and kick.

Probably the best we can hope for, similar profile to Clifford, Sailor and Lam (when he came here).

The worry is that at 24, this will be his 4th club.

We also need to add 2 quality assistant coaches for defence and attack. We have to give cartwright all of the tools he needs

Not seen too much of Asi but he’s had some semi decent game time in recent years and seems to have the skills to be an attacking threat in SL. I’d sooner we go for someone of that age too.

If we are in for him I’d love it to be a view to him playing centre and still signing a slightly more ‘out and out’ 6 or 7, but at this point and with our financial situation I think realistically it’s as experienced 6 as we’ll be able to bring in. Hopefully it’s us.

His main position is 6 and has played nearly all hos career there, think he has only played centre twice.

If he is coming to SL, who else needs a halfback, Cas? Maybe Leeds if they bin off Frawley and the Arthur connection?

Sheridan only signed a 1 year I think. Seems an obvious choice

To be fair he’s not exactly established himself as a dominant half though. Carlos played most of his early career as a 6 and this lad just looks to have the skills to suit to me. Like I say I think he’d be a threat over here regardless I hope we bring him in. Ideally alongside either a centre or another half. Also remember these ‘reports’ from Aus are often unreliable and we haven’t even been named as the club. I’m getting way too carried away discussing what position he’d play.
