Quote: LeythIg "I'm a Leigh fan, so there may be some sour grapes to this, but if I were a Hull fan, I'd be wary of signing Lam, simply because of how keen he is to play NRL at the earliest opportunity. If you do sign him, you'll have to do a better job than we have of making the contract watertight, given the form of his agent (and him).
What I'm not sure of, is who ultimately decides on the dispute between the player and Leigh? My guess is the RFL will transfer his registration, but then the independant body might be called in to decide on whether a transfer fee is due.
I would imagine that he will be leaving Leigh for a SL club, and frankly, given the goings on, probably for the best that he does leave. But will it be worth the hassle for his new club, especially given he'll be fishing for an NRL move after one good season.'"
Love it when opposition fans come with fair and rational responses rather than just point scoring. I agree with all of this, hence why I wouldn’t be looking to move Truey on.
My preferred option would be Asiata & Abdul sharing the 13 role and us to look at a winger/centre who can carry out of backfield and get us on the front foot. Forget about the prop at 13.
A ball playing 13 duo like Abdul/Asiata would allow us to give Moy the fullback gig and let him play his natural running game whilst he can learn to make that killer pass
