The 3 Hull lads all started against France last night. Thought Charles went ok, with 2 or 3 moments of class. Hutchinson was excellent at hooker, played the full 80 and his distribution was good. Westerman pretty quiet.

There were some good players on both sides. Robertson the England full back looks excellent, Lindop had moments, Taylor-Wray came off the bench and had an impact.

What impressed me the most though, is that a coach load of Hull academy players were there in the stand, all in their FC gear, with Francis Cummins, to watch the 3 Hull lads play

It was a good game. A lot of talent on display. I thought Hutchinson did really well.

I thought England were trying to score off every set , They just needed to calm it down a touch and probably could have won with a bit more match savvy .
