Quote: UllFC "Article with James Clark about the training ground, youth development etc on Hull Live. Nothing groundbreaking but first time ive seen him speak in a while. Definately feels lioe the club are going for a slower, more thorough approach to sorting the club out than just sign a few old Aussies and hope for the best'"
I think the club realised they had to change the way recruitment/retention was being done. Too many over the hill signings made in recent years alongside some dubious re-signings on long term deals which just haven't worked out, culminating in the club having to waste money paying players off
We haven't yet seen whether TS signings will be an improvement (Cliff was great but obviously no longer with us) but you have to hope with his experience he will bring in not only better players, but better people to the club
