Saints tend to have a policy of never go back. Also we are rumoured to have to signed Waqa Blake to play on the wing next year, and Ritson is going to be a backup.

Unless it's Watson or Volkman, I'd be looking at a one year deal only.
Think Sailor might be the best choice.'"
Two running halfs with Westerman on a years contract that might work

Good luck against Jordan Abdul if you have signed Blake, bombs are his weakness, but he is a good runner of the ball and can cover centre too. Surprises me that no other NRL team would want him, bit like Opacic, playing regular first grade for Parra - even in the finals, then ends up going to Poorhouse Lane.

Wakeham isn't much of anything, at Wests and I hope we'd not blow our beans for his signature, better to go with Morgan Smith if Wakeham's all that is left. Just my opinion, having seen him a lot over the last two seasons. Turpin, as hooker would certainly add some defensive steel, although he isn't the biggest threat with ball in hand, he does have that aggression we have lacked at times, but I thought he was nailed on for Canterbury, although it is NRL merry go round time for those players not playing finals rugby..

| Quote Hullrealist="Hullrealist"So our recruitment is looking like this Ese’ese - step up on Evans
Pele - looks more devastating than Satae
Okunbor - anyone a step up on Joey and Lane right now. Plays every week.
Ashworth - grand final winning prop who is also a step up on Evans
Tindall - huge shoes to fill but has age on his side
Smith - better than Dwyer and Ben Mac in one player.
Diakhate - I imagine he will sign and looks a unit, bit of a project
Oil Pratt - don’t know loads about him but young cover
Quota 7/6/1/9 - who know who or what this will be. Likely sailor who has a spark
Domestic back row - assuming we’ll bring someone in, probably from the champ
When you break it down, our weaknesses this year has been the lack of size in the pack. You certainly won’t be able to say that next year. With DH going around again I’d be content with the side if we can sign a handy 7 and a backrower to give lane a spell in the reserves.
Not exactly as doom and gloom as everyone is making out'"
Exactly. The half back signing is key, lets just hope we get lucky like we did with Clifford.
It doesn't look like a top six squad as it stands but hopefully a team that will put the effort in every week and as we've seen with teams like Salford and Leigh over the last couple of seasons that can often be the answer.

| Is Oli Pratt the centre that John Davidson is linking us to? Behind a paywall and I'm tight.

the two running halfs i meant Sailor and Hoy but for that to work we need someone like Westerman at 13
We are very limited at 13 and if Westerman was available would be a good move for the club on a 1 year deal
