The full back plan doesn't fill me with much confidence tbh. Maybe we've run into of options for a genuine replacement for Clifford.
It seems a really risky move to me

| Hoy and Trueman are too similar to be playing together in the halves, both runners rather than organisers. We need an organising 7 who is a leader too as I feel with losing Clifford and potentially Houghton and Taylor, we're losing a lot of our talkers on the pitch

I've not heard anything mate. Just that a fullback is lined up.

| I would have taken Hutchison, always looks a good organiser when he plays , he's big for a half, tackles well and always looks like he belongs in the Roosters' team, so I think he'll get a seat in NRL, at Wests or Cantebury, both of whom aren't strong in the halves, especially Wests, who are losing Brooks. wonder if the fullback is Douehi? He's been out injured and won't be replacing Jahream Bula, who has been a revelation since he debuted earlier this year. He can play 6 as well and he'd go well in SL.
Wonder if Grix can unearth a championship gem, like we did Danny Brough,

| Hutchison creates nothing and is slow, massive downgrade on Clifford.
The fullback story makes no sense at all and is concerning, think the thought process could change if Trumam misses a big part of the season, can't afford a start like last season.

| Just on the full back/half back debate. Dan Tomlinson is very confident it's a half were chasing and not a full back.
Could just be Clarke playing the rumours game.

| Has to be, just doesn't make sense, let's say we sign a fullback, a good one, would be at least two years, would Litten play back up for two more years, think he would be ok doing another year, but signing a quota fullback would possible mean we lose him.

its usually a 12 month job by the time the player is back on the field and several games under their belt so you could say its a season out of the game especially if we dont make the six once again
