Usually I would always support a Yorkshire side over a Lancashire one however in this instance my allegiance for the day will be with Leigh without any hesitation. The rivalry between the club I support and the one across the river is just too great, the bile that has come from not only their fans but people involved within their club over the years, I really don't get how any Hull fan could side with them for the game or want them to win. Don't get me wrong I think its good for our club, the city and the sport to have two strong clubs in Hull but doesn't mean I want them to be successful.

I very much doubt many of their fans would be as magnanimous and that is another part of the issue.

Hope they have a nice day out but have a very long and miserable trip back home empty handed

That's poor, imagine that you have family who have gone to Wembley and for whatever reason you haven't heard from them and you can't contact them, the worry it would cause. Why would someone make this up and I hope it wasn't created as a distraction to the cup final defeat.
