Just seen the Blore link. Fits our supposed profile of overseas player. He's just come back from an ACL though, not sure how his injury record stacks up. Would we be swapping one Savelio for another?

Wests fans rate him highly, suffered the ACL injury when they thought he was going to have his breakout season. I think he would be worth a go - good age

Decent player and fits what I think Smith is trying to bring to the squad. Be happy with him signing, should have no issue with getting a visa either.

I’d be amazed if Blore did come to Super League at this stage in his career and even with his injury issues. He was incredible in his debut and bullied Nathan Brown that much he tried to fight him

Re Shawn Blore he would seem to tick all the boxes in terms of what Smith is looking for in age, attitude and talent plus seems he would also be available this season too. After having a quick look he certainly seems to have been a highly regarded junior but looks like injury has derailed his progress in terms becoming a main stay in the NRL. He's certainly young enough to come over to SL for a couple years and make a name for himself to attract attention back in the NRL.

Seems he's had two ACL injuries one after the other so not sure if he's injury prone or just unfortunate like Cator was. Though I'd imagine that is what's likely putting NRL teams off giving him a deal until he proves he's 100% by getting through games. Be a good move by his agent to get him a gig in SL to get him back in the shop window.

Would certainly go well in SL though looking at his résumé.

Pele and Blore would be welcome additions.

Blore is behind Bateman and Papali'i, so might want some first grade experience. Just with the way the cap is in the NRL I'd expect him to stay there. In saying that we managed to get Clifford....

Someone on Casforum suggesting Savelio and Shaul are off there. Wouldn't be a great surprise. Dunno if it's for this season or next
