| Quote Mild Rover="Mild Rover"It is an in-joke. I promise that you’re better being in the out group.
For clarity, Tyler Dupree has not bought a house Hull in or even been seen there in a Chinese takeaway.'"
According to a BBC radio presenter in Manchester. Wigan are rumored to have offered £200,000 for Dupree. That is a lot of money ( silly money) in my opinion. I'm not sure Rovers will want to go much higher than that, if at all. Though he is a very good young English player that I would love to se at Rovers.
It just goes to prove though the lack of real genuine forward talent in the English game compared to Australia where such players are in abundance.

Think anything over £100K is a lot for a player that up until recently wasn’t even on the radar and been at a fair few different clubs without making much of an impact. Yes Dupree has potential and looks good so far this season but don’t think he’s done enough yet to be worth that much. Think it shows how poor and small the talent pool is currently in the U.K. game when a player like Dupree is attracting a figure like that for a transfer fee.
Another reason why the RFL and SL clubs need to make the reserves a mandatory requirement.

All 11 English SL clubs are playing reserves fixtures according to this:
https://www.hullfc.com/team/reserves/reserves-table
Mandating it would feel like when the government rolls out a legislative solution to a clearly economic problem.
To me Dupree is an example of a more natural system of progression working. The interests of SL clubs and their, understandable but not helpful, desire to own and control developing talent, to me at least, isn’t what you’d want to base your system around if the main goal is to allow that talent to flourish. But the SL clubs have the money, run the game and have their fans loyalty - so we get something that is club-centric rather than player-centric.

| Can’t believe a club like Wigan, with their youth structures, would offer £200K for a player like Dupree.
Could pick up similar standard from the NSW Cup. Salford should bite their hand off.

| Bailey Sironen is looking at a move to the UK. Considering who his brother is, I'd guess he'd move to a team in the North West if he does come over

| David Fifita on his way to Wakefield. Does that mean they have to release a quota player?

| Are we planning on bringing anyone in for the rest of this season now that we've got rid of Evans?
A winger, a prop or a back row are areas we could improve the depth if we still have any ambition to give this season a go.

| i agree,i thought we would have had a replacement lined up to replace evans.seems not so far.i also hope however long clifford is here we finally unearth a young number 7 to replace him.we had sneyd for 7 years, should have had plenty of time to groom a young 7 to replace him.what happened after sneyd left.we replaced him with 34 year old luke gale.
