| Quote RockNRolla="RockNRolla"Yes, but every team needs players like Fash and Cator. You only have to look at their stats each week to see the amount of work they get through.
Although we do really need some more big forwards to compliment these 2 as the second half last proved when we were struggling to make metres.'"
But would fash and cator get in saints wire or wigan?
Definitely not at saints or wire
They're the level we need to get to consistently

I think Josh played in the age group 1 or 2 below, although I am pretty sure Danny played a year above him self anyhow due to development.
He did end up at East Hull, but started at boys club when it was club number 1 in Hull.
RIP brownie, man made it. I only ever park at bonus now in town as a mark of respect to the area and past

We don't need XVII players who would all get into the Saints and Wigan teams.

| Quote Irregs#16="Irregs#16"Enjoyed last night, and we did to Wigan, what Wigan have done to so many teams in the past. Gritty, full of character and desire.
However, Lane was dreadful for me. To get a 4 in the HDM ratings in a performance as gritty and determined as it was, is embarrassing for him. His tackling, grabbing and failure to make yards is really poor. Savelio, even though it looks like he might be leaving, has to play next week instead of Lane. My team for next week if fitness news is correct:
Hoy
Litten
Carlos
Sutcliffe
Swift
Trueman
Clifford
Sao
Houghton
Fash
Griffin
Savelio
Cator
Satae
Taylor
Dwyer
Scott (Back row and backs)'"
Houghton back on the bench for this one Dwyer starting
Think Savelio is a non starter but we need a replacement for Lane.
Like to see Carlos given a run in the second row then we can move Scott into the centre

Smith has hinted at giving Houghton a break so we could see Dwyer starting and Lovodua on the bench.

St Helens and Wigan aren't 100% full of world beaters.
LMS is a plodder but is in Saints first 17.
Fash comfortably outplayed Byrne last night and he is there number 8, and he had better stats than Byrne had last week against Wakefield aswell.
They have more better players than most teams, hence why they do so well, but they're not all world class internationals. You still need players who are solid and get through the hard graft.
I'd probably rather have Fash in my team that Dudson, and he's in Wire's first 17.

criticising Satae for his effort in defence is not a wind up.Most on here just see his go forward
Still there are some on here that are not so blinkered see below

Big win in terms of recruitment and retention, will give players much more confidence in signing.
Still not sure on Satae, total rock and diamond performance from him tonight.

Satae is a very lazy defender. Very rarely bends his back when attempting to tackle.
His go forward is great though, which makes up for it as long as he has grafters around him to mop up.
If his defence was up to scratch, he’d be back in the NRL imo.

| Was nice to watch the game back, you get to see things that you don't notice live, but jesus christ if John Wilkin is the best sky can do then might aswell pack up. He wasn't even trying to hide his bias, I don't know why with all of the money sky have they cant get a decent commentary and summeriser team instead of just a bunch of ex players.
