The only logic in this signing is that we don't have a proper leader on the pitch and he is that. We're well covered at centre though so I'd be looking for a quota forward instead.

it would be frustrating that we left ourselves short of SR's by refusing to give Manu Mau a 2 year deal if we then go and give a 36 year old centre a two year deal a few months later, granted it is different people making the decisions now.

SKD was and still is a great player but it is a massive risk at his age, if it was a year deal I would almost accept but two years is crazy

I wouldn't be totally against a one year deal for SKD. Offers the leadership we are sadly lacking. He's getting on a bit but is the same age as Ryan Hall I think and he's signed up for another year with that lot.

Heard today Opacic won't be at Rovers next year. That might push them into offering SKD/Wood an extra year anyway.

The SKD deal would be ridiculous. Wrong position and wrong ages. The only funny thing about the deal would SKD would’ve instigated which would annoy a few rovers fans that their captain wants to come to FC

If Rovers only offer him a one year deal but FC are daft enough to offer him two years then good luck to him, of course he'd 'want'to join you, and some might find it annoying your right, but I bet a lot more would find it funny that you'd offer two years at his age.

Personally I think he'll retire ago back home, but that's just my opinion
