| Quote HU8HFC="HU8HFC"Think its nervousness more than anything, the man that had set up the world beaters from East Hull is now in charge of the bigger, better West Hull side and is starting to leave his mark.'"
Bigger, Better?
Bankrupt, play in a rented stadium and second fiddle to Hull City, no revenue income from the rented stadium, fickle fans , 10th in the table, unable financially to make quality signings. …….

| Quote Faithful One="Faithful One"Spoke very highly of him on the interview and whatever the outcome it doesn't seem like it will end on bad terms at all.
Satae leaving has got Willie Manu to Saints vibes about it for me. I'd be disappointed as think he's a great fit for us and what Smith is trying to produce here and into that 'culture' that has been spoken so much about this year.'"
Can't compare Satae to Manu, there respective performances glfor Hull are not even close, Manu was unbelievable for Hull, performed consistently well in every season, probably the best backrower we have had at Hull , Satae not close to that level.

On his day Satae is one of the best props in super League, hence the interest in him from other clubs. Manu left Hull and won a grand final, and I wouldn't be surprised if the same happened with Satae if he was to go to a better team. I'm not saying we're anywhere near that level at the moment, but players like him will help us get back to challenging for honours, and he'd have been the first OOC player is have tried to sign up.

| Quote Faithful One="Faithful One"I find his comments on Satae interesting. In one breath saying he only wants people here who want to be here, but then saying he's actively encouraging them to explore other options (Radio Humberside interview). He's a lot more knowledgeable about this sort of stuff than I am though so 'Toys out Tony' (bless them) has my faith that he's the right man to get us through this period.'"
Listened to the Humberside interview last night, gut feeling is Satae won't be here next season. Maybe I'm reading too much into it?
Seen a few mention Makatoa, who would be an ideal 'impact' replacement. Think he's under contract at Parra next season though,so sounds like a non starter

| I think he will stay settled in the area, cheap to live and has a close friendship with a few players like Sao and Carlos.

Halton won’t be going anywhere, he’s the heir apparent to linnet at left second row. Just can’t get in front of him at the moment and we’ve got extra prop on the bench this weekend against a physical Huddersfield

Maybe but you also have Storton and Batchelor too, if Linett goes around again, Halton could be unhappy, he isn't a young lad after all.
Saying that don't see this happening, but would be happy with both deals.

Can't see where Savelio fits in at Hudds. Seem to remember him and Josh Jones having plenty of niggle too.
I'd take Halton, but will Rovers release him? Think we'll be linked to pretty much every Rovers player that Smith signed
