Quote Dave K.="Dave K."I just can't see it, seems happy, just got an international call up and only signed a new contract in December.
Saying that, he won't be on a high wage and with his performances and international call up, he might be depending a pay rise that Salford can't afford, especially with the Croft deal.
Very unlikely though.'"
Quote Dave K.But despite all of these successes, the club still has no money. In recent years, we have lurched from cash-flow crisis to cash-flow crisis, planning from one payday to the next, even at times unsure of our continued tenure at our present home, the AJ Bell Stadium.
As I write this article, my house is sunk as security on a loan that is keeping the club afloat. The truth is, behind the scenes, a team of fans and staff alike have been holding the club together, keeping things above water at inordinate personal cost—and the truth is we’ve nearly run out of road.
'"

Salford are about to go pop and selling Dupree to Hull might tide them over to the next pay day?

| Quote Chris71="Chris71"If its true about Wynne not having the right attitude, as good as he could/can be then I'd have no issue in the club letting him go. TS has been brought in to change the culture which as we have seen there is something not right somewhere when it comes to the attitude & application in the playing group and its been that way for years.
As fans we have wanted AP to get an experienced coach in and sort the mess out which he has now done, so we have to trust in the decisions being made by TS who has a proven track record of turning teams around.'"
Completely agree, and while I like Wynne's aggressive playing style, do we really think he is a potential England or even England Knights full back? We have enough 'tries hard but not quite good enough' players out there as it is.

| Quote Dave K.="Dave K."Be disappointed to lose Balmforth, has fantastic potential, saying that as someone has mentioned about, we are very strong at hooker, a couple of highly rated prospects including Hodgson.
Similar to Wynne, has a poor attitude by all accounts and not the best trainer.

Only 19 though, don't like to think we give up on him. Heard the same about Abdul, but as soon as out of Hull environment he starting to play to his potential.

I hope I'm wrong, but don't see Pearson paying a fee, especially someone who would be much sought after and wouldn't be cheap

I don't think we are flush with cash, but announcing we have paid a fee for 'highly rated current England International' gets some pounds through the shop and ticket office, sometimes you need to speculate to accumulate.

| Quote Dave K.="Dave K."Maybe it isn't Hull's choice, you can understand why both Balmforth and Staverley would be a little disappointed not to have made more appearances by now.
As mentioned above though, he pathway at Rovers looks pretty blocked, while he should be close to the 17 for Hull next year, with Houghton and Lovodua gone. Similar to Staverley'"
Disagree really Staveley and Balmforth both had fitness issues so why would they get selected to play first team

| Tongue in cheek, but If, as has it has been suggested, we will be releasing Andre, would be good to offer him to Wakey, as a swap for Kelepi Tanginoa (spelling?) . He is one player I'd love to see in our backrow, think he's got a bit of Willie Manu style about him and has always looked a standout whenever I've seen him play. I seriously doubt either player would be keen, though, unfortunately.

Staverly has been playing big minutes for Newcastle, so can't be that unfit.
Balmforth could have done some short spells with Hougthon last season, much better option that JJ.
I'm not saying they should be playing everywhere, but they could have been given more gametime to see what they can do. Could potentially lose them both now, we could come back to haunt us in the future like Litten.

We don't have a quota spot and despite him being a good player, he is a but injury prone too
