Having said that yes it was a great disappointment but at least we were there. It was also a one off. As with most things in life time heals and now being reminded of it does not hurt like it did. You on the other hand have to suffer these drubbings time and time again don’t you. That means the hurt does not subside with time in fact it probably just gets worse.

That was bloody awful on Saturday, I really hoped those sorts of capitulations were a thing of the past. The only positive is it is only round 4 with plenty of time to improve. Ellis is the defensive coach and FC legend or not has to take some of the rap for one of the worst defensive performances I've seen in ages. I think we will get better but need a complete overhaul of our defensive set up. The right side of the defence is woeful, Darnell McIntosh has had a shocking start to the season, he is going backwards. A tough few weeks ahead I think, if we can ride that out hoping we can build from round 10 onwards. Nowhere near being a top six club at the moment.

My point was a good 8 or 9 players are still at the club who let down radders and Hodgson aswell
