Its frightening that there is not one stand out candidate

Prior to this season I'd have said Lane, but honestly, he's been awful this year. Probably our main culprit of 6 agains in the whole team

we havent a leader at all.we desperatly need,a gareth ellis,bill ramsey,richard swain type of player,a leader and motivator.no one stands out as captain material.

So basically we are looking for an international class second rower who has a great World Cup but is out of contract, unattached and willing to move to the UK and also a natural leader.

And if we don’t find him then Adam, James Clark & Hodgson all need binning.

Many will laugh but given the mess we are in and clear lack of leadership, If possible I’d take LMS for a season. I get his age but just look at the passion he oozes when on the pitch and how he leads from the front.
He’d certainly be an upgrade on Taylor.
