I remember him one Saturday morning many years ago been interviewed on one of those Saturday morning kids programmes. Rovers were playing that Saturday afternoon in a cup game on the TV. He was asked if he supported any of the local teams to which he replied, "Rovers are playing today and I'll be there supporting them". He then punched the air and said come on you reds. So whether he was just supporting Rovers that particular day or whether he was a more committed regular supporter I don't really know.

Alan Halsall is a Cas fan, or was when he was married to Lucy Jo Hudson.

Andy Whyment is a Salford fan too.

Big Sheffield United fan so maybe he leaned towards Rovers because of the colours. He doesn't follow them on Twitter so if there was an interest it has waned. That said he name checked them at his gig at Craven Park a few years ago.

dont know anyone from coronation street,last time i was daft enough to watch it,violet carson was in it.

At their 2 gigs at Bonus Arena last year they came out to Red robin on the first night and Old Faithful on the second night.
