33, probably one of our top earners, as good as he's been I think it's the right call not to renew.
Maybe it helps explain the Mata'utia, Mellor, O'connor links, that we're after a back row.
Unless we're going to run with Lane, Savelio, Griffin next season. With Scott and Lovodua as cover. Think it's a risk though with Andre coming back from his 3rd ACL.'"
I hope he stays for another year. He may be 33 but didn't debut until 2014 and keeps himself in good condition so there's no reason why he can't go round again. He's been one of our best this year and would definitely need replacing.

Centre? I'm hoping nothing comes of it.
Wests are a basket case. He'd be nuts to go there
The Raiders need halfbacks.
The Dolphins just need players.
I'm hoping it's a slow news day...

| Shame about Mau. Would have liked him to have stopped another year. But we don't see what goes on being closed doors regarding fitness etc. Also we might be in for another back rower?

Maybe a centre, I still think his lack of pace will hold him back to play 1, centre or 6.
Bennett is fan and coached him for GB, can't see the other two, but they do have UK connections.

| Love everything about Connor, but if he were to go and we replaced him with French the loss would be tempered, and we could play a different type of rugby.

| Ma'u and Connor are quality players, both will be huge losses.

Have to replace Connor with someone of equal quality (although maybe a different style) or we are in big trouble, Ma'u is a good player, but not a game breaker and could be replaced a lot easier.
Hopefully his agent and he will get a better deal at Hull, happily make him a marquee player, particularly when you think Reynolds is rumoured to be on marquee wages.
Maybe the two are connected and allowing ma'u to leave means we can offer Connor more?

Unless it's to do with finances I would be very disappointed to see him go.

If that's the case it would cushion the blow of losing Ma'u but if Connor wants to test himself in the NRL there's nothing we can do.
We should do everything in our power to keep Connor even if it means losing a player of Ma'u's calibre and maybe one or two others.

It would solve the problem for his knockers on here with their internal rants about his lack of pace and where to play him
Think he’ll stay, hasn’t he got a young family but there again Oz is a fantastic place to live and he’d be on a good wedge. I just don’t see him doing well out there, stricter regime and definitely wouldn’t put up with his pouting. Machinations.
