I think gale McNamara lovaduo Reynolds Houghton and Carlos would have to be missing before BH thinks of putting Connor at 6

I'd gladly but Connor at 6, but for that to happen we need a better FB than Shaul IMO.

How about Lovodua at FB?

After his performance last night I wouldn’t be unhappy to see Shaul given another go at full back. He did use to be a good player there and he showed some of those elements last night.

I know we have been critical of his passing in the past but with 2 creative half backs we can overcome that to some degree.

I think the major problem came because he was too comfortable getting picked every week and stopped doing the things he was good at? (support play, little kick throughs)

But if he can continue to show the enthusiasm and desire he did last night he would be a dangerous weapon for us.

The reason why lovodua hasn’t been given much of a chance at hooker is maybe down to his defence . He’s missed at least 2 one on ones which has resulted in tries . Some people just look at a players attacking game and not his overall, game . Defence wins and loses matches as well .
