| Quote Armavinit="Armavinit"FC must have the slowest play the ball in rugby league. Saint’s line speed meant they were in our attacking line before the first pass making most spectators cry for offside and strangling any movement we could make. Down to 12 men for practically all the game meant our lads were knackered with the amount of tackling they did. BH really has to sort our indiscipline quickly. No point in getting Connor back next week, if we lose Wynne and Gale. I wasn’t a fan of Kendall today but will reserve judgment on him until I can watch the game back.'"
Our line speed or rather the lack of it is as big a problem as our poor discipline. We still seem happy to just stand and wait in the defensive line giving the opposition metres without having to make any effort. Similarly the speed at which we ptb is so slow along with the speed we try to move the ball. These two things will cause us to have to put in far more effort defensively against average teams but against a team like St’s who play with much more intensity & speed you are never going to make any yards or stop them gaining. That today was as disappointing as anything as we just didn’t have any desire or intent. The only positive for me is we no longer have Radford as coach but I am seriously questioning if BH can improve us as the basics of the game from todays effort were shocking.
As for Kendall I thought he was poor generally and I’m still wondering what hull gave to do to get set restarts and in the crucial areas of the pitch. Kendall fir me certainly favoured St’s and gave the most of the decisions but we just didn’t help ourselves either with stupidity

| A depleted team, a poor afternoon weatherise and the best visiting team in the game, but ......For us one of the worst first halves Ive seen in ages too much standing and waiting for the attacking players in our defensive line, so slow to play the ball, so much confusion in our attacking line, a captain who has a brain fart and gets sent off just when we needed him most, too many penalties conceded and for me at least a bad attitude at times. For years we have asked the question and for years it has been unanswered in that when will we get a Coach a captain or a senior player group or even a tea lady that can stop our constant stream of penalties conceded most of which are just plain brain dead efforts and which yet appear week in week out season in season out. And when will we get a defensive coach that indicates that our line should approach the opposition when they run at them instead of waiting for them to get up speed before they make contact. Very disappointing for me.

A couple of Wembley wins and just missing out on OT twice in the semis was good but I suppose a relegation scrap might bring a different type of excitement.

| Hangover from radders coaching is that we continue to concede penalties when in possession of the ball.
The scrum penalty for not packing down was schoolboy stuff.
We must have created a SL record for least metres gained in a match and completion rate was shocking.

2016 & 2017 apart we played some awful rugby and went on significant losing runs. So the 2 Wembley wins apart the club massively underachieved considering the money spent.
It’s the same old statement thrown out that we had two Wembley wins and nearly got to OT but it was nearly and we didn’t get to OT did we. The Wembley wins whilst great just glossed over the poor performances in the league culminating in some of the most pitiful displays by a team wearing black & white and record losing runs.
Today was never going to easy but we practically gave St’s the game without them having to break a sweat due to the same old issues that we have seen for far too long.
As I said before the game as long as the effort was there and the players gave it their all I’d be happy but sadly yet again we fail to get even the basics right turn out another poor performance with attitude and desire once again missing

| Being a realist, although mocked at, I said it could easily be another 20 years, if we're lucky, before we ever lay our hands on any silverware again.
We'll be a quarter of the way there after blanking out again this season.

might have to stick him in the second row
deserves another run.Maybe Mcintosh to centre and leave out Scott or drop to the bench

Connor will be back to full back
Shaul made several handling errors at play the ball and was out of position for the Welsby try but still should have got to the ball first.
I agree he needs to get criticised but no one criticises Griffin for several handling errors and a brain fart kick on attacking in their 20

Are you advocating for him to return to centre?
