It's from a quote from Batley coach Craig Lingard who told the BBC that the RFL were looking at changing the return to play protocols, however that was a week ago so who knows.
What we do know is that in England from Monday fully vaccinated adults will no longer have to self-isolate for 10 days if they're told they have been in close contact with a person who has Covid. Whether the RFL will use this to coincide with a relaxation of the return to play protocols remains to be seen however they'd need to announce something pretty soon if it's going to happen for the next round of games which starts on Thursday.
