Official attendance 1840 - we could have a really difficult game next week with an injury hit squad..

Quote: Chris71 "Regarding Sneyd I commented during the game that I couldn't believe he'd kept pace with Swift on his run for his 2nd try, whilst Swift might not have been at full speed Sneyd certainly proved he can shift himself.

He's certainly looked a lot better since he's started taking the line. I thought Sneyd, Reynolds and Houghton all looked so much better with the forwards laying the platform and us being able to get much quicker ball.

Also thought Ma'u was outstanding and its pleasing that he has gradually got better as the season has gone on and he is looking much more of a danger out wide.'"

Pivots looking good behind a dominant pack? I'm shocked.

The game might have changed over the years, but the old adage of forwards win games, backs decide by how many is as true as ever. Reynolds came in for some stick in his first couple of games after injury, but I don't think people appreciate just how hard it is to shine as a half back when your team is being dominated physically and not completing sets.

Sneyd seems a bit less injured this year. The last couple of years he was what Radders called a serial limper. He seems more lively and a bit more aggressive in defence.

All that practise with a basketball hoop did him the world of good.

Quote: the cal train "Swift, Wynn, Sneyd, and Reynolds all managed to hit 33km/h according to the stats. Just over 20 in old money. I had Sneyd down as slow.'"

He looked pretty rapid when backing up. Maybe the ball slows him down!
