| Poor as Hull’s performance and score line looked against Saints, as it turned out Saints scored the least points of any winning team this weekend. Maybe we didn’t do so badly after all.

Exactly my thoughts, I also think we can get a second rower who's better than Mau

Mau is a difficult one for me
Several injury setbacks havnt helped but its just the disappointment of not seeing the line breaks we know he is capable of.
Defence is good and he is apparently always near the top of kilometres ran during a game at around 8km so he is not shirking work rate.
We all know that front row is a priority and its likely to have to be an overseas player.
Faraimo looks the likely one to move on but getting a better second row than Mau im not sure where he would come from.

Yeah I agree Faraimo will be one to certainly go to free up a quota spot and wages.
Mau I'm 50/50 with, his defence is decent but I also think at the moment he's one of the main culprits for brain farts in attack so ends up putting us under a lot of pressure, that and he's not making clean breaks like Mini used too , I'm not impressed with his passing at all. We need more than just tacklers, same with Fash yeah good honest kid but we need more well rounded players who are as good going forward as defending.
I honestly think with the wage Mau will command I'd say he's in our top 5 earners easily, that we can find a more effective second rower. Hodgson will probably know a good reserve grade second rower back home

| Quote Mrs Barista="Mrs Barista"Certainly people said the squad isn't weaker and the prop situation was fine. I think my assessment was reasonably accurate. Defence is better against the teams below us which is helping but against the top sides our pack is not dominant. I'm fine with that actually - we don't have the personnel and as a mid table side/club we are entitled to nothing, but can hope BH will bring in what's needed. He doesn't seem daft.
The key thing for me right now is errors and discipline. Impossible to compete with the top sides when you're constantly giving away territory and ball.'"
Don't forget though...this IS the most expensive squad you have ever had in your history and described by your owner as 'unsustainable'.

What of it? My sporting spectatorship life will never be eclipsed after 2016, so I don't really care whether this squad is more or less expensive tbh. We could be playing in the championship and I'd be chipper as. Life is beautiful

| Sure I heard AP say that we’ll be okay as long as we can start getting crowds in again, and get season pass numbers up to what they were previously.
No doubt the same as most other clubs.

Spot on. After 2016 my sporting landscape certainly changed.
Everything from that point on is a bonus to me.

Yeah we seem to agree that your expensive squad has failed. It's all downsizing from here.
Rovers are the future of Rugby League in this city.
