8082_1359018606.jpg I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_8082.jpg |

This is just killing players, the spectacle isn't great. They have gone overboard on the six again infringements. You can't tell me that all of those would be given as penalties in a game pre-lockdown?'"
I agree
All its doing is promoting big scoring games
The balance is not right'"
I tend to agree, I think pre Covid the 6 again rule would have been ok but all it has done is make games a nonsense. As with the limited recovery with such short turn a rounds to get games the players/teams are already finding it difficult so once you give 2 or 3 repeat sets of 6 in quick succession the game is over as teams just can't come back from it.
Unfortunately there is no clear or consistent way that the 6 again rule appears to be applied and this just makes a further mockery of the games so far. Players are going to tire and the referee's and RFL have to account for this having an affect not just ping teams repeatedly for 6 again.

| During this game Chris Satae claimed that Dec Patton had bit him on the arm, in front of the posts with Wire in possession, Referee waved play on apparently ignoring it and Wire went on to score. Last nights game not sure who but a Leeds player claimed he’d been bitten by a Rovers player, Ref stopped the game brought the 2 players and respective captains together. After everyone involved was shown the apparent bite mark, resumed the game, meaning Rovers we’re allowed to form a disciplined defensive line. Can anyone tell me why 2 referees treat the same offence differently and was Dec Patton disciplined, I notice he’s missing from Wire’s present line up.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| This is what disciplinary came up with...
Quote: "Opponent reacts at the closing stages of the tackle. Opponent has arm around the neck/head area of player. Reported immediately to the referee. Footage inconclusive. Referred for further investigation. No additional evidence submitted. Referee and touch judge observe no red marks/bite marks on field. Player has pressure applied to back of head/neck. Other defender falls on to groin area which may cause an additional ‘jolt’ forward – not of a biting motion.'"

But the ref didn’t stop play plus the touch judge didn’t come onto the field. The ref just seemed to hurry the game on without taking notice ![CRAZY d040.gif](images/smilies//d040.gif)

I think that's what "further investigation" comes up with.
