What people spend their money on is nobodies business but their own.
For a lot of people the club is a huge part of their life and their community. If Hull FC ceased to exist I know that it would leave a huge hole in my life, and there are people for whom it plays a much bigger part than for me. Some people out there practically live for the club and would be totally lost without it. If the club was about to go under and needed saving then that would qualify as a worthy cause imo.'"
For clarity, said [i]personally] if FC mean that much to you then do as you please.'"
Without getting in too deep on this debate its not quite as simple as just saving a sporting club, staff at Hull FC are just as vulnerable to the possibility of being laid off, shorter hours etc and still have to pay bills, get shopping etc also the knock on affect from small businesses that rely on an income stream be it on match day or through the season from both rugby clubs is not to be sniffed at either.
We are all facing some testing times not just locally or nationally but globally.
My personal take is to a certain extent this Corona virus is getting blown out of proportion and creating hysteria in part due to the different ways it is being handled globally, some misleading media coverage and pretty much no one having any real solid knowledge on the virus.
For many people the clubs they support be it Hull, Rovers, Hunslet, Batley or workington town etc play an important role within their communities and are to some, a lifeline.
