Radford has blamed the atmosphere at the KC a few times and puts it down to why the team play badly, in my 50+ years of supporting Hull Fc I have witnessed great teams and really bad teams. The atmosphere comes from exciting the fans, did anyone go to the Derby match earlier in the year that was pretty good but I guess we were winning, how about the 27-26 win beating saints in 2010 that was pretty noisy as well. (Be happy with that result tonight)

If you want atmosphere you have to give the fans something to cheer about and not blame them for the team not playing well, not the first time he has done a post in the mail, I was never a Radford out guy but he needs to take a look at himself.

Wonder what time the mini bus to Beverley is on Monday, is there a send off parade from the KC?

They did make a bit more of an effort tonight, the players were told to run out for their warm up past the West, South then East stands. Then we had the tribute to Prescott and to the players who were leaving.

Obviously you cant do some of those things every week, but it does help get the fans up off the seats and in the mood for it.

While I think the new signings will still shift the passes, it is noticable how many pass holders arent going every home game this year. Club announced 11k but no way that many in the ground, I thought more like 9k and we're not in peak holiday season anymore. Once pass holders get out of the habit its hard to get them back, so hopefully we deliver next season and turn it round.

I thought the supporters were great tonight. Good atmosphere.

I agree it was much better, a combination of a better pre match and players actually showing they care during the game. Things had got a bit of stale, but at least Pearson is taking that on board and we may see some new ideas next year.

Possible the first game will be the home Derby I guess.

I’m not too bothered about the pre-match or half time stuff.
It could be amazing, but everything still comes down to the product on the pitch.
Something needs to change. We need entertaining next year.

Also the prematch music was slighltly less defeaning than usual.
