Quote: Tarquin Fuego "So LR says it’s hard to motivate the team for a season defining match
He’s also said it’s not really his fault and clueless as to how to fix it
You really have to ask
What does he do week to week ?
Said before
Name a stand after him and let him move on
He’s just reached the end of this project'"
It does sound as though from that interview, he has lost Interest and is deflated of ideas.
He s been at the club a long time and everything has a shelf life.
Radford needs recognising for his achievements and give him a fitting send off. But I do think it is time Pearson Recruited a new head coach. For example looking back at Kieran Cunningham at saints, at the end of his tenure the players were uninterested, and deflated, and rarely had any consistensncy, those same players transformed over night and have been consistently good for the last 2 years. I don’t think Cunningham had lost the dressing room but more a case of boredom had set in, as I’m sure we all go through at some point in our own working lives.
Because KC had been a loyal long serving employee at the club, I think McManus probably kept him in the job for to long due to sentiment which we all know in sport is bad, I would say this is the same conundrum that Pearson has with Radford!
Players are often moved on to freshen up the squad and I think the same should be said for the coaching staff
