I have no basis to back this up but I see Ellis being a last resort next season given our recruitment is forward heavy.
As has been pointed out, we will have 4 wingers on the books (5 if MDJ stays). I'd expect a back or two to leave. |

Griffin probably player of the year & rightly so. Always does the hard yards & really consistent.
Another back who will benefit from forwards rolling downfield who have a pass in them.
His versatility really valuable though, just think we have better pack options.

Agreed, think Griffin has been pretty much the most consistent player this season and has really put some shifts in. I think he deserves his place in the centres next year. He could well be devastating down the edge next year if the forwards lay the platform like we hope and the improvement in the 2nd row, get Griffin the ball early and with a bit of space and he can really do damage. |
