| =#FF0000Can we get back onto the topic of last night's game please. I'm sure they'll welcome you over on the KR board if you would like to discuss their recruitment strategies. Ta.

| ATEOTD we shot ourselves in the foot again and got what we deserved. If we'd have held on to the ball a little more during the 80 mins we'd have got the win. The high number of handling errors (for a dry night) cost us massively last night as we turned the ball over far too many times & in critical areas of the field, just too many brain farts.
Still think its a mistake not having Connor in the centres from the off with Griffin 2nd row especially when missing Sika then Bowden & Paea. Plus we gave Sneyd no protection last night when Wigan continued to target him just like Warrington did in semi.
Our attack was so flat with no movement last night and not for the first time. We also have too deep an attacking line so invariably lost 10-15M on the ptb as we were not running on to the ball so we just passed the ball backwards each time surrendering ground.
Really disappointed to be honest as even with the short turnaround we should still have won as that wasn't the reason we lost it was down to poor handling, dumb rugby at times and poor execution.
Yet again though O'Loughlin seems untouchable as the high shot on Masi should have been a minimum yellow card but as usual not a word said and a pity someone didn't flatten Isa either.

| No agression. Honest question you ever played the game ? Agree on our pack needs sorting and that's being addressed. We have got what weve got. Think we will win 4/5 of our last matches and get 3 rd

| Quote al283="al283"Shaul not the problem, he does support thru the middle, repeatedly.
BUT he is the only one who does & our pack aren't blessed with offload ability, my hope is next years pack will not only be bigger & stronger but also much more skilful.
His defence was very good last night in all areas. Sadly Faraimo the weak link in defence, both under the high ball & in the frequency we concede walk ins on his wing. Not sure his decision making or those inside him ? but yesterdays try carbon copy of the two Briscoe tries at Leeds. Needs fixing !!!!'"
Thats why Tuimavave needs moving to left centre (its his best position) to bolster the left edge.
It would also solve Radfords problem with Kelly/Connor.Connor can play Right centre with Kelly at 6.
Griffin should be starting now in the second row and interchanging with Manu and Minichello

| Quote Lang Park="Lang Park"We did have one good passage of play when we built pressure on their line.
We even kicked a grubber in the in-goal and forced a dropout. Unheard of for us recently.
Though we didn't score on those 3 sets Taylor barged over shortly after. No doubt in my mind that the effort expended in the previous spell of FC pressure enabled him to do that.
Hopefully LR looks at the video of that and focuses training on building pressure through repeat sets and not trying to score every set when the opportunity isn't there.'"
I think he has had enough time as coach to put that play into motion more often.
If fans can see it surely the coach can
When you have three repeat sets in the opposition 20 and dont score that tells the story, not just in this game but season after season

| Got to agree with what others have said. This thing we are doing with Connor currently just isn't working. I also can't understand why when he does come on we are putting him on the left. It makes no sense to me. Connor looks much more threatening linking with Kelly and with the pace of Naulago outside of him. Defences are frightened to death of giving Ratu an inch, and that was creating space for Connor to do his stuff. Carlos just can't create an opening like Connor can. I also feel like Carlos on the left would stiffen up what is probably our weakest area in defence.
Next week I would definately be going with a backline of:
Shaul
Naulago
Connor
Tuimavave
Faraimo
Griffin in the second row. He can always slip into the backs of there is an injury or if we just want a tactical change.
Actually my preferred option would be what we saw around Easter time. Kelly playing full back in attack and Connor playing there in defence, but as long as Shaul is fit I just can't see him being left out.
The pack is what it is. They will hold there own but just aren't good enough to dominate games this year. Our strengths are our pace and power in the back line, along with the skills of Kelly and Connor. We need to make best use of that. We aren't equipped to win too many forward dominated arm wrestles this year.
