I love how people guess, without checking anything.
For Salary cap purpose, a loan is treated in the same way as a transfer. The loanee ceases to count on the salary cap of their parent club and their value will be transferred to the salary cap of their new club. Regardless of who pays their wages.
It's easy enough to find out.

Haha thanks for that.
It's quite common for certain people on here to get opinion mixed up with fact

… fair enough, I was confusing it with dual reg which would still count on the club's cap.
I see that there is also a clause explicitly saying that injured players cannot be loaned out to reduce salary cap liability.

Whatever us fans think of Rovers, the benefits to Hull FC of them remaining in Superleague are tangible. The derby matches generate so much extra revenue

Interesting move this. Clearly Radders has no intention of playing departing players if he can help it. Wonder if we'll see Green again?'"
“No intention of playing departing players” - Not quote as he’s still playing Westerman.

Shouldnt be as his recent form is poor.
Would rather have had Hadley in there for the last two or thee games as Westerman is just going through the motions

| Player welfare, as a rugby club we have an moral obligation to look after players, if we aren't going to play them and they have the chance to play SL, then I think we have to do that, particularly for players who have given their all for the club.
Not too bothered about Hadley, but think it's an error with Litten.

No way will it be him.
If we can get a decent prospect (Maybe a hooker) then it makes sense to do the deal early.

| Rovers have recalled Lewis from a loan spell, maybe just a coincidence.

True. And technically Mini and Manu and maybe Paea.
Perhaps "departing fringe players" would be more accurate.
