Also read on Twitter yesterday that we are looking at Joe Cator and James Cunningham to replace Hadley and Litten.
Don't know much about Cator, would like Cunningham back, but would he come to play behind Houghton?'"
Cunningham is also able to play in the halves Dave. |

I'd be amazed if Houghton left Hull, in fact I'd say he is probably the least likely player to leave us for another club. Could have gone to Leeds in about 2014, but stuck with us.
He won't be going anywhere

Radford has always been a fan of Cator so can see something in this he’s not that big though or he’d be a great player I wish we’d have held onto him to be honest |

Maybe looking to bolster reserves next season when a meaningful competition is introduced.
At the moment none of the Hull teams have sufficient players for a weekly reserve competition.

If it allows Griffin to permanently move into the pack then it's a good move, plus it gives us a good back up plan if Kelly doesn't stay beyond his contract, how long does Naulogo stay, does Connor move to the NRL, ideally we would sign Fonua if one of these happens the season after next, so the timing isn't perfect, but it is too good an opportunity to turn down.

Squad game now, as both Hull teams know very rarely are able to put out a full strength side.
Fans moaning about not needing him are thinking too short term, luckily radford and Pearson aren't and see Fonua playing for Hull for the next 5/6 years.
As long as it doesn't effect our ability to bring in a few more forwards I can't see why we wouldn't sign him.'"
If Fonua does come back I hope it’s as a winger, he’s a lot better there due to his suspect defence. Gets exposed far too often playing in the centres. Although this could be down to how Hull play in defence, been bunched up which is what Radders has mentioned previously on the radio Humberside. |
