Struggling to get any decent field position. Need a little more composure and tighten the defence up

We have a 6 day turnaround to our biggest game of the season so I think some players, anyone with a niggle, will be rested - quite rightly. Our record at Headingley is terrible, not withstanding that they will be desperate for points and will likely strengthen before then with Watkins going.

Great stuff. In the years before Radford took over it seemed that our halves were either crocks, juniors or 9s/13s played out of position. To have sorted this out with Connor as back up is excellent work. Kelly on a free as well.

I watched the end of the game again last night and Jake Connor went round all the Cas players shaking hands from what I could see.

The cameras in particular showed him going across to Adam Milner, both players shaking their heads and both having a chat while shaking hands.

Any bitterness and animosity left on the pitch as soon as the hooter sounded.

Great to see.
