Well as Radford said last week our first choice wingers pre season were Talanoa, Faraimo and Dawson-Jones, so not surprising we're struggling. Swift maybe what we're after. If what I hear is correct about who we are looking at in the forwards we will be trading up.

Based on yesterday you could be talking about Hutch Maiava and Dane Tilse.

I’d let all the out of contract forwards go and freshen it up totally.
There’s a couple I’d look at releasing early if I could as well.

Well there are just 3 teams with more wins, 2 of them employing marquee players I think.


Maybe if he replaces one of our so called sentimental re-signings Radford may be upgrading the squad, a good thing.

It was a tongue in cheek comment regarding his statement made (if you actually read the links you posted) and our attitude and performance yesterday.
He should be an upgrade as some of our players are finished so not a lot to compete with but yes I hope he definitely will bring something to the party.
I'm sure we'll be carrying marquee players next season.
Sneyd and Jones won't have come cheap from what I hear.

Don't know why but I hope we do actually sign some Aussie other than islander's. I am happy with Josh Jones but I really think the club need to sign a big name to excite the crowd. I know we need forwards but still think a class outside back is needed

The wail ran a similar article on jones a day or two before we announced his signing. Paying £100k+ on a player who hasn't really broken into first grade down under is a risk but probably tells you what pond we're fishing in

He won’t come over for much less considering the minimum wage in NRL is around 70k a year.A more well known prop would want in excess of 200k a year so I would take the risk
