Quote: Mr. Zucchini Head "The stats make better reading for the forwards this week. Still struggling to make significant inroads, the metres per carry were not impressive, but pretty much all of them put their hand up and did plenty of work.
Paea, 12 carries for 64 metres.
Masi, 10 for 51
Thompson, 14 for 65
Ellis, 9 for 55
Mini, 21 for 116
Manu, 19 for 101
Lane, 7 for 46
Westerman, 17 for 70
Also not one of them made a handling error and they conceded only 4 penalties between them.
Nothing there is headline grabbing, none of them managed much more than 6 metres per carry, but it just proves that if they can just hold their own, we have enough quality elsewhere to get the job done.'"
this is much more consistent. i don't think it is the metres per carry thats the issue, it is the errors and penalties conceded giving the opposition easy metres. Also looks like everyone shared the work this time rather than a couple of them only doing 3 or 4 carries as in the last game. Knock similar stats out to those every week and put bowden and taylor in there and we will be fine
