I think LRs contribution will stand in the annals of our long history. One of the immortals!
He seems well liked by his players as well. Just think something needs to change. If it’s not Radford, maybe it’s a new assistant providing a fresh voice?
When the time comes for a coaching change, I can see it being Horne and Ellis taking over.'"
An assistant with a fresh voice is only good as long as the man in charge is prepared to listen.
I think the gloss has finally come off Lee's tenure. 13 SL lossess, 2 record defeats, not won since June 18 and now the 1st time in Lee's tenure we've lost the first 2 league games of an opening season.
I can't think of many coaches who would survive a record like that despite their previous record.
Everyone can see the effort is there from the team but the results aren't. Indiscipline, errors and lack of attacking finesse let us down badly.
This has been a recurring theme, even commented on by coaching staff and players alike, yet nothing changes or improves.
The team of 2016 on it's day was unplayable and should have also won the GF had we not been as unprofessional on gone on a weeks bender.
Unfortunately players from that team have left or are 3 years older and yet our structure of play has remained and proved unsustainable.
Lee will forever be in Hull's history as a back to back cup winning coach but now for me a new coach, fresh ideas and a change of direction are needed to regalvanise this team reach the potential we know is there.
