| Quote: Tinkerman23 "Yeh I know, but running hard and flying in to every tackle doesn't cost anything, why do think hudds have turned things around so dramatically. Aussie coach getting the best of the players at a high intensity. Wigan , Saints do it consistently, cas, wakey , war to a lesser extent. Get 12 clubs playing at high intensity week in week out, you'll have a very good entertaining product. Its down to the clubs culture and coaching, inevitably when a club is not consistently reaching the standards, you change the coaching staff.'"
Got to think that the 6 extra games we play before the play-offs and the challenge cup makes some difference, tbf.

| Quote: Mrs Barista "Of course, it's nice to be optimistic. Like you were about staying up a couple of years ago.
I though Scott and Lane both went well. Litten's an interesting one for me. Talent and energy but physicality could be a challenge.'"
I wasn't optomistic mrs b ,we got what we deserved, though I thought we had dodged the bullet until the last 2 minutes.Scott at 18 looks the most promisimg at the moment though I thought lane put a good shift in.

Lane Scott Massi Hakan Jez all had a good dig, Matongos best game looked strong and fit, next season when normal service hopefully resumes, these lads will be tremendous assets when they can be used as they should be in short spells of the season, with this experience it bodes well for the future.
would like to see Jez and Hakan in the halves as I think this season has been a step up to quick for Liam, no disrespect intended. Danny H needs to find his kicking game, long and short.

| Quote: Towns88 "Last night's game just summed up the 'super 8s' absolute dross. Neither side really had anything to play for. We know we are in the semis but they're 4 weeks away so why would you bust a knacker last night? With all due respect hull's season ended in an admirable loss to Saints. During the 'super 8s' there was no pressure of finishing any lower than 8th and no real chance of top 4, plus with a brutal list of injuries it's shown that every minute doesn't matter at all.
I do like the middle 8s and the jeopardy but the super 8s stink, the crowds cant be bothered, soulless games. Dour and a poor advert. No dig at hull either BTW here.'"
Agree, we would be dead and out the running anyway but under a top 5 or 6 format Huddersfield and Wakefield would still sneak in the playoffs and fancy their chances in a playoff game
