Put yourselves in their position for a moment. They loved Scott Taylor and called for him to get a 5 year deal there. Just look at this:
viewtopic.php?f=59&t=522913
Then imagine that Hudgell tries to stall his arrival at Hull FC so he sends him to Wigan where he learns how to win trophies. Then he brings that knowledge to Hull and is a pivotal player in us ending the Wembley hoodoo and winning back to back Challenge Cups, whilst getting in the Dream Team and earning the international selection they said he would achieve with them. Then being vocal about his love for Hull FC. You can see why they'd be hoping he'll come a cropper. Savouring a rough tackle by Danny Tickle is fair enough in that context, meaningless in the bigger picture but a crumb of consolation in our relative achievements of the last few seasons. ![Laughing icon_lol.gif](images/smilies//icon_lol.gif)

| Mrs B that thread has cheered me up, some of the posts from Rovers fans are pure gold.
Tracy claiming Jordan Cox was a a better player than Ellis or Barham Red claiming he would't challenge for trophies or get international honours at Hull, I'm not sure what is funnier.

| Firstly apologies for being over exuberant in my delight at a long awaited derby win. It's been a long time coming.
I do think that Hull FC have more problems than a bad injury situation I stick by that. You're not going to become a bottom 4 team any time soon no doubt but I think you have settled into a bit of a lull.
Your Super 8 games may seem unimportant but I think Lee Radford will not agree. For all the loyalty of Pearson I think Radford's job rests on the line.
I think there will be little to choose between the Hull clubs next year in fact we may just edge ahead of you. Of course we still have to stay in the league first!
I predicted a while ago you would finish 8th that was possibly wishful thinking but it's far from impossible now. Play like you did at St Helens in the cup and you'll soon have me and others retreating back to the Hull KR forum.

Not a bad post to be honest.
I'd be amazed if Rovers finished above us next year though, need some big recruitment to achieve and considering you are at Full cap with your current squad and are rumoured to have signed the likes of Hauraki, Keinhorst and another Salford player whose name I can't remember I don't see that happening.

You know what, I didn’t see the second one until I just watched it back now, and the VR didn’t look at it either. Good spot! I suspect that is what incensed Blair, as he has the clearest view of it. Can’t really grumble at the officials, having missed it myself. So Griffin got away with a shove and [itwo[/i knock-ons, in one play - uncanny.

At the end of the day, we’ve got Scott Taylor, they’ve got Danny Tickle.'"
The only time I have been to the KC stadium was back in June 2010 when I watched Hull come back from a second half score of 6-26 against St Helens to win 27-26. No kudos for guessing who scored the final try, landed a last minute field goal and was the match hero. Also in the side was Danny Houghton.
It was the first match I had seen Hull play at home for almost 45 years and will forever be remembered as one of my favourite Hull matches. Cannot remember another 20 point come back against St Helens.
